I am trying to find the parents of Emory Barnard. Circumstantial evidence points toward Emory being closely related to Rebecca Barnard Walton, Hannah Barnard Leitzel and Sarah Leitzel as the mother of these women is Liza Barnard who is in their homes in the 1860 and 1870 census and when in the home of Emory Barnard she is listed as MOTHER IN HOUSE. Liza Ann Smith married William Barnard 1828 and supposedly died abt 1840 as he has another family by Hannah McComb by 1850 census. Liza had two sisters who married brothers of William Barnard, namely Joshua and Jacob and all on the same day according to Smith records. I would appreciate ANY additional circumstantial information to prove that William Barnard is the father of Emory.
