Earl d 1940-48, when Mae is listed in Carbondale Directory as widow of Earl.

by 1920 Earl is widowed, but this usually what is said, regardless of the marital status. He married very young.
He is living with his parents Jacob & Maria

Marie Vought of Carbondale died Thursday at the Osprey Ridge Nursing Center, Carbondale.

Born in Carbondale, daughter of the late Earl Moon and Mae Dougher Moon Yentcho, she was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are a sister, Shirley Sidell, Peking, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, William, Jack and Earl Moon; and a sister, Alice Hadley.

The funeral will be Tuesday in the Brennan & Brennan Funeral Home Inc., 55 Lincoln Ave., Carbondale, with a blessing service at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Finch Hill. Friends may call Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass time. Online condolences may be sent at www.bren nanfuneralhomes.com.
