Hi
James his wife Bridget McCoy and 3 children John,Bridget, and Lenora landed in July 1837 in Pennsylvania. they were sailing on the Franklin from Belfast.
I'm searching for a McCoy family that were separated in the Gulph of St. Lawerence in a storm. My family John McCoy landed in Canada and farmed in the Ottawa area (bytown).
I believe James was born in 1770'sand his children were teen aged when they arrived.
Jack
