I think this is him! Occupation says "gardener", which fits with the immigration record I found. Although the DOB is off by 4 years, it seems this family was pretty casual about that information, so I'll take it. Both Mary and James gave several different ages on census and immigration records. The record looks to me like Petfield or Pitfield, but while it was transcribed "Pelfield" on familysearch.org, it's "Pelfald" on Ancestry.com. I never would have found it without the Family Search reference. Thank you so much!!
