Hi Alicia. It would be helpful to know what sources you've already found. I did find the 1880 census of Morrow Twp, Macon Co Missouri showing W. K., Sophia and 3 of their children (all in their 20's) plus 2 people with different surnames. If the only child's name you are aware of is Edward (he's listed there too) then I can tell you two more are Hiram and Eliza. That could be helpful if you can find a death certificate, marriage certificate, etc in one of their names. (familysearch.org)
Also, Sophia was born in OH (according to this 1880 census) so perhaps William headed west and stopped in OH where he met Sophia? Did they get married in OH? Lots of info can be found on such records....like parents names??
