Dear Iva,

Some Pittsburgh deaths are online at http://www.familysearch.org

There I found a May 1, 1901 death for an Earl SIPE, aged 1 year 10 months and 18 days and the child of Peter and Annie SIPE. The address was 235 Shetland and the previous address was Meadow. These are in the 21st ward Pittsburgh (East Liberty). Earl was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery.

The Historic Pittsburgh site has city directories and there is a Peter SIPE laborer living at 235 Shetland Avenue in 1902.

There is a 13 December 1894 marriage in Pittsburgh between Peter SIPE and Anna ROSAMOND. This Peter was born in Iowa so likely the person you're interested in. I found this in the IGI.

Good luck,
Karen
