Elijah Slay and Eleanor Elma(?) Barnett Family
Posted by: Barb (ID *****0287) Date: February 02, 2012 at 15:40:28

I am a descendant of Elijah Slay born around 1815 in Ohio and Eleanor Elma Barnett born around 1821 in Pennsylvania. These are my ggg-grand parents. I am looking for any information on this family line. I am particularly curious if there is any African/American or Indian blood in this family line. I will of course, take any information available. Ancestry.com shows Elijah's parents were Edward Slay (born in Maryland) and Lydia Gray (born in Pennsylvania). That is as much information as I have and this is the one line on my family tree that I am "stuck". My grandmother is Winniford Todd Gross, her father is Albert Sturgis Todd, his mother is Lydia Slay and her parents are Elijah and Eleanor Slay. Thanks in advance for your help.
