Col Samuel Hunter's Pennsylvania troopers

Just found Captain Thomas Camplain's name associated with a relative of ours - Abraham Minniear who volunteered in his company of rangers in 1778. Abraham went on to volunteer in Col Samuel Hunter's Pennsylvania's troopers. I'm wondering if the Capt. served under Hunter. Will continue to research. I can be contacted at statonfamily@hotmail.com
