Does anyone have any further information on a particular Benjamin Covert and/or his wife Elizabeth, née Young? Their information:
Benjamin Covert
Occupation: Ship steward
Born: February 1844, Ohio
Died: probably 1908 or 1909, perhaps in Pennsylvania
Married: 1881 or 1882, to Elizabeth Young, with whom he had a son, William (born 1882)
Elizabeth Young
Born: October 1859 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Died: in or after 1920
Parents: father was from Prussia (now mostly Germany) and Alsace Lorraine. If her father was indeed from Prussia, her maiden name would very likely have been spelled "Jung".

I have been unsuccessful locating Benjamin and Elizabeth's death certificates, finding them in the 1880 Census, or determining if Benjamin left a last will and testament. I have also checked works on Coverts in the US. Benjamin is not mentioned. Any help if finding out anything more about this couple, my great-great-grandparents, would be wonderful. Thank you in advance.
