I would definitely try to get Charles' marriage record to Augusta as hopefully it will indicate any earlier marriage and what ended it. The 1910 census clearly indicates it is his second marriage. His obit might list his children from both marriages which would help to make sure you got the right man. There's no easy way to find the obituaries unless the place where each of them died happens to have them online but if Rebecca and Charles did divorce hopefully she lived long enough to appear in her siblings' obits. Rather than having a state death record there might be county or church death record for Rebecca. Check with the historical societies in Buffalo County. My guess is if she died young she is buried there possibly in the same cemetery as her parents. Notify Administrator about this message?
