Mabel Lorna Thompson(b 23 Jan 1889, W. Elizabeth, PA)married Thomas John Foley (b 25 Aug 1889, Tyrone PA)on 5 April 1912 in Pittburgh PA). They had four children, Thomas John Foley, Jr., Albert E. Thompson Foley, Ellen Virginia Foley, and Richard Norton Foley. Verbal family history is that Mabel's father, John Thompson, can from England when he was 25 years old and married a McVae whose family was supposedly early settlers of PA and who purportedly had a log cabin which was preserved by the state of PA somewhere in W. Pennsylvania and are buried there. We do not know that location. That is all we know about the Thompsons and McVaes, except that Andrew Mellan was supposed to be a third cousin of McVae. Again, any insight you might have would be appreciated
