Nellie S. sounds the closet to the Bible entry that Josephine, future daughter-in-law of Nellie wrote in her bible. "Mother Nellie Fenton died when Randal was Eleven. His Father died at the age of 72 years of age in Texas (she had crossed out Mexico and written in 'Texas')."
Thank you so much for the info you discovered........at least, I am sure the name 'Nellie' Fenton was probable.
The death listed reminds me of the word, pleuresy (my spelling is off, I am sure), but that was a common cause of death I am told in those years.
