As to nationality, I presume Edward Larison Fenton and Nellie Lightcap Fenton were of German, English, and/or Scandanavian backgrounds but really, no family member is absolutley sure. Most just like to say they are German by heritage..........have even been told some Basque may be in family but have no idea who that would be. This came from comments from relative long dead, today.

Nellie, I assume died abt 1896 due to my reading that her son, Randal, was 11 when she died (written in a family bible by Edward's Daughter-in-law, Josephine), but not sure where, nor do I know where the children were born, except for Randal, her husband, being born in the District of Columbia.

Can't use the Social Secuity Index for Edward or Nellie as they died in either the late 1880's or early to mid 1920's. I need a town for birth or death or even marriage but no one seems to remember anything to give me a clue where to look....and Edward disappeared by hitching a buckboard to some horses the family legend goes and vanished, taking off from Colorado in the mid 1920's as they say he was a wanderer. They thinkk he died in Texas but no one today, is sure.

I do know that there is a strong connection of these family lines at some point in Dresher Pennsylvania but think they just traveled there at some point and stayed a few years and later generations, left again. By those generation (I have dates) I know they went to Colorado, back through Kansas but never made it back to Philadelphia.

It is Edward and Nellie that I am wondering about.
