Edsall Family Reunion

Hello All,

In my family research I have come across an organization that called itself the "Samuel Edsall Association." It sounds as if this organization was simply a well organized annual Edsall family reunion. The newspaper articles I have regarding this organization are from 1946 - 1948.

There have certainly been various Edsall family reunions since that time in different locations which no doubt have been a great source of information and fellowship.

I don’t want to reinvent the wheel here, or take away from any hard work that has been undertaken with all the reunions since this organization existed, but I was wondering if there would be any interest in breathing new life into the old Edsall family tradition of organizing and meeting under the Samuel Edsall Association name.

Seems to me it would be mostly a symbolic gesture but a meaningful one none the less and might act as a way to bring more of the family together from different lines.

Just trying to gauge interest at this point. Let me know what you think.
