I've traced my family line back to 1735 to Johannes Weidman(born in 1735) who married a woman by the name of Anna Barbara(born in 1737). After this line, I have come to a dead end. I have all the children listed for this couple, but no further information. Their children are Joseph, Mary, Christian, John, Henry, Anna Elizabeth, Margaret, Susanna and William. I also have seen some spelling the name as Waidman. I believe they were Pennsylvania Dutch or Amish, but I can't verify that. I do know they were farmers. If anyone has any information on any of these people, I'd be happy go swap info with you.
