I had posted a message in this forum earlier looking for the parents of Rachel Christian, b. 1854 in OH with parents born in PA. I have since, with the help of a lead from another researcher, found her parents, who were Daniel Christian b abt 1809 and married to a woman named Elizabeth b abt 1819 also in PA. I suspect they are from Bedford County, PA, but I cannot prove this. I believe the Daniel Christian family moved to OH before 1839, because they indicate on census documents that all of their children (Catherine, John, Rhoda, Abraham, David, Rachel and Samuel) were born in OH. The family was in Darke County in 1850, Miami County in 1860, and back to Darke County in 1870, by which time Daniel Christian had died and Elizabeth lists her name as Elizabeth Christy. Any assistance you can give me in tracking down the ancestors of Daniel Christian and his wife Elizabeth would be much appreciated. Many thanks in advance.
