What happened to George W. Hitchcock, b: March 1872/73-PA?
We finally found him after the 1880 Census for Bloss, Tioga Cty, PA; now he's missing again. Looking again for: George W. Hitchcock - s/o Daniel, and Mary (Odell) Hitchcock; b. Mar 1872/73 in PA.On 27 Apr 1899 - Addison NY, he,at age 26, married widow, Martha (Quant)Cellon/Cillon, age 30 - d/o William and Wealthy (Hilligas) Quant, b: Jan 1869 in PA; it was her 2nd marr.; she had a son from 1st marriage to _?_ Cellon/Cillon, in 1889-Bath Steuben Cty, NY. Son named William/Willard b: Jan 1889 in PA (name was hard to make out). Found them living in Howard, Steuben Cty, NY on the 1900 Census, occup: Farmer, married one year. Then he disappears; not in PA, or NY on 1910 Census, but Martha is alone, and living in Corning, NY; states M-2 yrs. William/Willard is also gone, but he is 21 by that time, so that's possible.
If you can shed any light on George, or tell me Martha's previous husband's given name, I really would appreciate it. Thank you.
Mary Lou
