Has anyone heard of a Pittsburgh German Homested Society?

I am trying ot find information or records of a Pittsburgh German Hoested Society. My Gr, Gr, Great Grandfather, Thomas Bedynek was a member and came with a group to Wisconsin in spring of 1857. I have some names (which I will list below)and I know that they were mostly millworkers and laborors, mostly Catholic and most were from Germany and Switzerland. They purschased land through an office in Stevens Point, WI and from there left for central Wisconsin. They founded the town of Marathon. The names that I have are:
Karl BECHTOLD, Sebastian KARL, Frank MITSCH, Ludwig SCHMIDT, John BLUME, Fritz KLINK, Isadore MURR, Joseph URBAN, Jacob DUERSTEIN. John LOY, John SAUTER, Henry VOLHARD, Balthasar FISCHER, Joseph MESS, Ottmar SAUTER, Joseph WITBERLER, and my Gr,Gr, Great grandfather Thomas BEDYNEK.

I would be so greatful for any information I could find.

Amber
