Lisa,
First, I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. My laptop is in the shop and I have had to configure my kids' old home computer to use it while my is being repaired. Also, that explains why I am using this board to contact you. I don't have your e-mail address.
Second, here is the information I have. I am beginning with myself and working backwards. I am very, very new to genealogy. Therefore, I do not know all the terms and nuances. The names in brackets are in a direct line from myself (Thomas) going backwards. In other words, Ruth is my mother. Henry is my grandfather. Another Henry is my great-grandfather. Anthony is my great-great-grandfather. That Anthony (my great-great-grandfather) was from Brunswick, the county seat of Chariton County, MO. His son, Henry, (I think that's the Henry you are looking for) became a very successful farmer north of Salisbury, MO. I have no information on this but it is my understanding that that Henry's wife, Mary Poeschl, died and he remarried and had additional children by that second wife. However, again, I have no information on that. Finally, it is my understanding that Mary Aberhardt, the elder Henry's mother, was 1/2 Cherokee.
{Thomas}, Richard, Harold, Holly, Chris, Cecilia Sutter, Children of Richard Sutter and {Ruth Pleyer}.
Doris and {Ruth Pleyer}, Daughters of {Henry Pleyer} andMaurane Dowell.
Anthony, Mary, {Henry} and Bertha Pleyer, Children of {Henry Pleyer} and Mary Poeschl.
Frank, Willie, {Henry}, Laura, Mary Pleyer, Children of {Anthony Pleyer} and Mary Aberhardt.
Please let me know how any of this fits with your data. Also, although I do not have dates, I can get them fairly easily. Please respond directly to me. Thanks.
Grace and peace,
Thomas D. Sutter
