A great-great-grandchild of Henry Keely and Rebecca Streeper, Gem Nelson, responded to my post with some additional information.
Rebecca Streeper was born Nov 17, 1791 in Pennsylvania and died Nov 4, 1876, (buried in Barren Hill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania). She was of the 5th generation of her family in America, ( her immigrant ancestor, Wilhelm Streypers came over in 1683 from Germany on the "Concord" and was one of the founding settlers of Germantown). She married Henry Keely, (who is buried in Barren Hill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania), and produced the following children: Edmund Keely, Samuel Streeper Keely [who was born July 8, 1822 - My original post has an incorrect date and I also mispelled his marriage place it is “Manayunk”], Caroline Keely [born Aug 6, 1824 and died Aug 8, 1904 in Layfayette Hill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania], Mark Keely [born 1826], Sarah Ann Keely [born June 4,1831 and died Dec 26, 1915 in Barrenhill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and married George Weir Cressman], Lucinda Keely [born Feb of 1833 and died Jan 9, 1901 in Roxborough, Philadelphia, PA and married Oliver Sabold], Anstina Keely [born 1838 and married George E. Apple on Feb 27, 1866], Elizabeth Keely [born Feb 9, 1838 and died 1926 in Layfayette Hill, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania]
Some of this information came from “tombstones at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery at Barren Hill, Montgmery Co. PA. Some years back many of the tombstones at that cemetery were read and recorded and the information is available on a CD put out by Family Tree Maker, Pennsylvania Vital Records. The same information is available in book form, I believe under the same name. It was published some time back and and should be available in many genealogical libraries. Henry, Rebecca, Mark, Caroline and Elizabeth are all buried at St. Peters as are Sarah Ann and her husband.”
”According to the records the tombstone for Mark reads "Sacred to the memory of Mark Keely, son of Henry and Rebecca Keely, Died July 15, 1850, Aged 24 years." This sounds as if he never married. Apparently Caroline and Elizabeth did not marry either.“
”The records also show that Lucinda K. Sabold died January 9, 1901 and gives her age as 67 years. This would make her birth year as listed above off by a year. It should be possible to check this in census records. Oliver K. Sabold is listed right after Lucinda in the records, so it seems to me that this Lucinda is Lucinda Keely. “
”Anstina bothers me with the same birth year as her sister, Elizabeth. Turning to the church records again, Anstina Apple and George E. Apple are both listed. The records say Anstina died Jan. 18, 1918 in her "88 year". If this is so, she should have been born about 1830. Again I think census records would be a help. “
Gem would also like to know the parents of Henry Keely and added, “There are a lot of Henry Keelys. One Keely family had a farm near Schwenksville in Montgomery Co at the time of the Revolutionary War and possibly before. Soldiers from the Battle of Germantown were buried on their farm. There is also a Keely Cemetery near Schwenksville.”
