I'm a descendant of William Scott and Elizabeth Coe. Here's what I have:
Generation 1: Unknown Scott. Four children.

Generation 2: William Scott (ABT 1710 in Scotland - ABT 1747 on the Susquehanna River in Lancaster Co., PA). About 1730, William left Scotland for Ireland and married Margaret "Peggy" Calhoun (b. abt. 1712 in County Tyrone, Ireland) abt. 1732 . William, Peggy & their firstborn Francis sailed for America abt. 1734. Twins Patrick and Ruhanah were born at sea, though Ruhanah died. The family settled in Pennsylvania near the Susquehanna River. About the year 1747, William Scott, in the company of another man and his wife, was crossing the Susquehanna River in a small boat. A blinding snow storm obliged them to land on a large rock in the middle of the river. Night came on and all three perished. They were found in the morning covered with ice; the rock was called Scott's rock for many years. William and Margaret had 7 children.

3. Ruhanah Elizabeth born in 1734 at sea enroute to America and died 1734 at sea enroute to America. The fraternal twin of Patrick.
4. Judge William Scott Jr. b: ABT 1738. Associate Judge Of York Co. Court Of Common Pleas, PA 1790-1800. Married Mary Adlin. 7 children.
5. James (1741 in York County, PA - 1819, Washington, Allegheny Co., PA) Married Margaret Power.
6. Robert (1744, PA - 1807, Washington Co., PA) He was a cobbler.
7. Lt. Adam Calhoun (1746, York County, PA - 1831, Cooper Co., MO) In the Revolutionary War, he served as 2nd lieutenant in Capt. Charles Maclay's 8th company, Col. James Dunlap's regiment, of Cumberland County, Pennsylvania militia. Married Elizabeth Thornton. 13 children. Buried Pleasant Green Cemetery.
Generation 3: Patrick Scott (1734 at sea enroute to America - 19 FEB 1820, Lackawannock Twp, Mercer, PA) married Lettice Denny (1743 in County Derry, Ireland - abt. 1785) in 1763 probably in Chester Co., PA. Lettice was the daughter of James Denny and Margaret. Patrick was a Presbyterian Church Elder. Went to western PA in 1772 and settled on Pigeon Creek in Washington Co. Patrick and Lettice had 4 children.

After Lettice died abt. 1785, Patrick took a second wife, Martha Cotton (1755, PA - 1829, Lackawannock Twp., Mercer Co., PA). They had 4 children.

2. Francis Scott b: 1790 in Chester Co., PA
3. Martha Scott b: 1794 in Chester Co., PA
4. Henry Scott b: 1796 in Chester Co., PA
Generation 4: William Scott (26 NOV 1765 in Chester, PA - 6 JUL 1854, Little Washington, Richland Co., PA). Religion: Presbyterian Elder In Ohio; Later Joined The Methodist Episcopal Church. William's first wife was Lydia Dement with whom he had three children.

2. Margaret b: 10 FEB 1793 in Mercer, Franklin Co., PA
3. Unknown b: 1794 in Mercer, Franklin Co., PA
William married a second time to Elizabeth Coe (2 NOV 1777 in Westmoreland Co., PA - 5 FEB 1857, Tipton, Cedar Co., IA) on 13 OCT 1795 in Allegheny Co., PA. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Coe and Eunice Jaggar. They had 11 children together.
1. Mary (17 SEP 1796, West Alexander - 1852) Married Benjamin Paul.
2. Samuel b: 4 AUG 1798 in West Alexander, Washington Co., PA. Died as infant.
3. Dr. James S. (4 NOV 1800, West Alexander, PA - May 16, 1881, Greeley, CO) Married (1) Nancy Hammond, 8 children (2) Susan Wright, no issue.
4. Eunice b: 16 OCT 1802 in West Alexander, Washington Co., PA
5. Phoebe (27 FEB 1805, West Alexander - May 19, 1854) Married Mark Finicum.
6. Ebenezer (22 JAN 1807, Jefferson Co., OH - Oct. 5, 1841)
7. Nancy (13 JUL 1809, Jefferson Co., OH - Apr. 25, 1886) Married Daniel Carpenter.
8. Rebecca (3 OCT 1811 in Jefferson Co., OH - Mar. 9, 1897)
9. Silas (24 NOV 1813, Jefferson Co., OH - July 26, 1891) Married (1) Phoebe Parkinson (2) Emiline Carpenter.
10. Martha (4 MAR 1816, Jefferson Co., OH - May 5, 1901) Married Andrew Coleman.
11. William R. Jr.(27 APR 1818, Jefferson Co., OH - Mar. 8, 1899) Married Martha Bigelow.
