Hi Patti,
Do you have information on a John Laughlin who died June 15, 1820 Armstrong County. Believe John was married to Margaret McBride. One of his sons was Reynolds Laughlin born July 15, 1802 married Jan 8, 1829 to Elizabeth Carney they lived in Armstrong County. Reynolds had a son James Laughlin born Oct 7, 1826 Armstrong County married Feb 3, 1853 Martha Jane Critchlow. Martha's father was James Critchlow who fought in the Rev. War. Was a member of Morgans Riflemans. Her Uncle William killed General Frazier at the battle of Saratoga James Critchlow was married to Mary Leech or Leach and her father John Leech was killed by Indians. Her mother was Jean ? My Laughlin line seems to dead end in Armstrong County. Of course, with so many James, Johns & no mention of the wife or mother it is hard to tell who is who.
Thanks.
Lona
