My maternal grandfather. He was born in Westville, New Jersey on 11/24/1899.
Served in WW I (Navy).
Married Eleanor Smith in Philadelphia (Grays Ferry). I understand that at the time of his death, he was working in a leather factory on Grays Ferry Avenue.
He died in October, 1931 at the age of 32. My mom was born five months after he died. She was his only child, and was raised by her mother's half-brother, William Wilson, and his wife, Lydia Wilson, who was from Ireland.
My grandfather was buried in Mount Moriah Cemetery in Philadelphia on 10/29/1931.
