Hoover Minthorn Family

Seeking relatives of John and Hannah Minthorn, aunt and uncle of President Hoover. Mr. Minthorn was a doctor and school superintendent. The families were quakers from Iowa and Pennsylvania. There is a Hoover Minthorn Historical House located in Newberg, Oregon. President Hoovers parents were Jesse Clark Hoover and Hulda Randall Minthorn. Hulda's parents were Theodore Minthorn and Mary Wasley. I am from the Minthorn Family from Pendleton, Oregon. Did any of the Minthorn family adopt any Umatilla or other Indian families?
