I am looking for information on the family of A. and Ann McFarland of Shenango,Mercer, Pennsylvania. I believe their daughter married John Burk of Butler County, Pennsylvania in 1878 and Samantha had a daughter in December 1878 named Sadie. Are you possibly related to Samantha McFarland?

Also, can you tell me when Mercer county started issuing birth certificates?
