Considering Moore is a common name that's not a lot to go on and I'm wondering why you don't have data on at least one sibling since he was an uncle. Anywho...

The Social Security Death index includes a James Moore, born April 26, 1900, died May 1987, last lived in Montoursville.

The 1930 census of Montoursville includes:

James Moore 29
Virginia 28, born in WV
Jean 3 6/12
Virginia 1 2/12

The 1900 census of same:

Estella Smith, born Jan 1848
Joseph Moore, born April 1865 (son-in-law)
Annie M., born July 1868 (daughter)
Nellie E., born April 1894 (grandchildren)
Anna E., born March 1896
Geo. Miles, born May 1898
James R., born April 1900

Check with the Lycoming County Genealogical Society to see if they can help you. His obituary should be helpful in confirming that he was your great uncle.
