I am presently researching John S. REED, born 25 Dec 1816 in PA and died 22 Jan 1887 in Lewistown, PA, and Elizabeth M. HOPPER, born 21 August 1818 in Montoursville, LYCOMING COUNTY, PA and died 23 Aug 1900 in Altoona, PA. They appear on the 1840 Washington twp, Lycoming Census and then moved to Mifflin County, Lewistown, PA, where they appeared on the 1850-1880 Censuses. They were married abt 1837 (estimate). John S. REED was a carpenter.
By any chance, is anyone researching this family? I am searching for the names of their parents. I have information to share. Thank you, Sharon, Sharon_ra@msn.com.
