Researching Isaac and Kate Baker who lived in Montgomery (Village), Lycoming County in mid-19th Century. He was a moulder/carpenter for a furniture maker, I believe, and a "professor" of violin. He served as a civilian contractor for the Union Army during the Civil War. Kate Eckert Baker was daughter of Edward Eckert of Bird-in-Hand, PA, and sister of Emmaline Eckert Conard of Phiiladelphia. Isaac and Kate had several children, including Nina P., Anna, aka Nan. Isaac and/or Kate may have been Quakers or Mennonites. Thanks for any help.
