I'm not related.

Lleweylen West 42 arrived in New York on the S.S. America on Nov 17, 1925. He was from Abertillery, England and his wife was Mrs S. R. West of 78 Oak Street. He was a miner headed to Brazil, Indiana.

When the S.S. Aquitania arrived in New York on Feb 22, 1927 it included this family:

Sarah R. West 39, born in Blaina, England
George L. 18, born in Abertillery, England
William 11, born in Blaina, England
Phoebe 7, born in Blaina, England

The passage was paid for by Sarah's step-brother Mr Wm. Dicks of 24 Glanervon Ter., Blaina. They were headed to see Mr. Llew. West of Main Street, Nanticoke, Luzerne County, PA.

The 1930 census of Nanticoke lists:

Llewellen West 45
Sarah 41
George 21
William 14
Phoebe 10

If you're looking to find more check with the Nanticoke Historical Society.
