I'll start with Carrie first. Carrie & Helen can be found in the Horace Dolbin Family in 1910 and 1900 living in Cass Twp., Schuylkill County, PA. Here is someone who is working on the same family: http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=jsjn11&id=I01977

John is a bit harder. I couldn't find him before 1920 either, at least none that fit. However, there are two records that might be helpful and that tie into the fact that Carrie was from Schuylkill County.

A WWI draft registration record has a John Elias Hubler living in Allentown and born in Pine Grove Twp., Schuylkill County on 6 Oct 1887. The WWII Draft registration record for this same person shows him born 6 Oct 1889 in Pine Grove Township and living in Coal Fields near Minersville, Schuylkill County. He would seem to be the person you're looking for but it is not certain.

Some of these records you can look at for free at labs.familysearch.org and Ancestry.com. For those you cannot see for free I suggest checking with your local libraries to see if they have Ancestry or Heritage Quest.

If you know when and where John died I suggest getting his obituary and death certificate if for no other reason but to find an exact birth date. Hopefully his obit would have at least his siblings' names.

You can also check with the Schuylkill County Historical Society and the Pine Grove Historical Society to see what they may have.

The couple may have married in Schuylkill County where they were from or in Lehigh County. Marriage records are kept by the Register of Wills in each county.
