Hi Robert,
You don't have to be old to have a senior moment. They can start in your twenties or thirties. It's a good saying when you can't rember. My last name Bartos is slovack, its is my X husband. Never changed it. They came to Lehigh Co. from the coal region somewhere and the name was shortened.
My mother-in- law left a letter for her daughter when she
died with family information.She did not know what or when it was changed.That part of my childrens genealogy is a dead end. I was told Bartos is spanish. I don't know
