Patricia,
Karen sent me this link to your messages. I'm another Rex descendent (many times over) and have also been working on the Rex family. Your post intrigues me as well. I do believe there could be mistakes that no one has scrutinized before. I'm following up on one myself... but that's a story for another day. I, like Karen and her father, will go back through my records to see if I can find anything that may prove or disprove your theory, but I think it definitely sounds plausible.

I have little info on Henry and Maria Horn. I'd appreciate knowing more about the family. Was Maria a daughter of Jacob Horn? I had questioned that but never went back to check into it more. Jacob was living next door to Maria and Henry and it seems like it was likely.

I descend from William and Elisabeth (?)'s son Johan George, actually twice over. One line comes down through Jacob who married Lydia Rex (here's my brickwall, can't figure out who her parents were!!), and another line through his daughter Salome who married Emmanuel Moyer.

Feel free to email me and I'm happy to share what I've got as well. artsmart47 (at) yahoo (dot) com (that's so bots can't get my email anymore then they already have!)

Michelle
