BRADER, Charles b. 1858 Lehigh Co.

I have written to the Lehigh Historical Society to see if they could find
anything about my GGfather's accident which had to have been in the local
newspapers. I received a letter in return stating that they have no resources for researching without exact date - something I don't know. I also checked the Allentown "Morning Call" website, but their research request form doesn't allow for going back that far.

He lived near Laury's station, and his name was Charles E. Brader. He was a blacksmith. I believe the railroad was called Lehigh Valley Railroad at the time. I estimate the timeframe to be sometime between 1885 and 1900, (in working for the railroad, he fell under a train and his legs were severed.)

Does ANYONE hade ANY ideas?
