Made it to the New Castle Library (GREAT folks) and got my answer. From the churches of Lawrence County: Union was originally on Lawrence Street (now where part of the freeway runs) and then moved to 251 West Grant Street in 1918. The first pastor was Rev. L J. Pollard and Rev. Tucker was the second, taking over around 11/18/1905 (source: New Castle News).
