I am trying to find anything about the family of my great great GF Riley Bruce 31 MAY 1826-10 JAN 1894. He was born in Lawrence Co., PA, lived in Plain Grove Township and later moved to Mercer Co. He was married to Mary Dean of Slippery Rock, about whom there is a great deal of information. Does anyone have any information about who Riley's father/mother might have been.
In the 1850 Census, Riley, Mary and son William are listed right about the record for Hiram Bruce, whose obit is part of the Lawrence Co. archives...could they have been brothers?
