Mrs Bridget PAYTON RUDDY 1312 Monroe Ave Dunmore widow of Patrick RUDDY and Aunt of Rev Patrick PEYTON, Albany NY founder and conductor of the Family Rosary Crusade died last night after a long illness. She was born in County Mayo daughter of the late James and.....GINLEY PAYTON. She came to the US 57 years ago. She was a member of Christ the King parish Dunmore. Surviving are 5 sons; John and Michael, Scranton; James, Dunmore; Patrick, Binghamton, NY; Joseph,Washington, DC; 3 daughters Mrs James MURPHY, Dunmore; Mrs Beatrice O'DONNELL, Dunmore; and Mrs Norbert FITZSIMMONS, Washington DC: brother Patrick PAYTON and a sister Mrs Dominick SMITH both of Scranton. Also surving are Rev Thomas PAYTON,New Orleans and Father PEYTON, Albany, NY. Services St Paul Church with interment Cathedral cemetery.
(Note; the obit included a picture. Also the obit indicated both PEYTON when addressing Father PEYTON and PAYTON for the rest of the family members)
