I'm looking for info. on MICHAEL "MIKE" YUHAS/YUHASZ b. abt. 1876 in Austria (Slovak-Czeckoslovakia) and his wife, SUSAN (Maiden name unknown), b. abt. 1880 in Austria (Slovak-Czeckoslovakia) and their children: 1. MICHAEL "MIKE" CYRIL YUHAS/YUHASZ, b. in PA on January 24, 1898 (He may have had a son, CYRIL M. YUHAS, b. in 1926); GEORGE YUHAS, b. in PA abt. 1899; MARY YUHAS, b. in PA abt. 1903; 4. PAULINE YUHAS, b. in PA abt. 1905; 5. JOHN YUHAS, b. in PA abt. 1907; 6. ANDREW YUHAS, b. in PA on September 12, 1909, d. January 1976 in NJ, married MARY (Maiden name unknown); 7. IRENE YUHAS, b. in PA abt. 1915; & 8. VERNA YUHAS, b. in PA abt 1918. Their parents, MICHAEL "MIKE" & SUSAN YUHAS were married abt. 1897, I believe in PA. I found them on the 1910 & 1930 Federal Censuses living in the Borough of Dunmore. However, I couldn't find a 1900 or 1920 Federal Census for this family. On the 1930 census, SUSAN YUHAS/YUHASZ was a widow, still having the 3 youngest children residing with her. MICHAEL "MIKE" YUHAS/YUHASZ, SUSAN's husband also had a brother, JOSEPH YUHAS/YUHASZ living with them on the 1910 Federal Census. Both MICHAEL & JOSEPH worked in the coal mines. Brother, JOSEPH YUHAS/YUHASZ, b. in Austria (Slovak-Czeckoslovakia) abt. 1891, married between 1919 & 1920, MARY SEMANSKY, b. in PA abt. 1901. Their children, all b. in PA were: 1. JOHN YUHAS, b. abt. 1922; 2. JOSEPH YUHAS, b. abt. 1924; BERNARD YUHAS, possible birth & death dates being March 19, 1926 & February 25, 2002 (last residence being Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey); & 4. EDWARD YUHAS, b. abt. 1928. JOSEPH & MARY (SEMANSKY) YUHAS/YUHASZ and their children resided in the Borough of Winton. If you have any information on this family or are connected to them in some way, please let me know. Thank you.
