Looking for information/connections on the STANTON and related families. Michael STANTON b 1835 Ireland d bef 1910 Taylor boro of Scranton. He was married to Bridget (STANTON) she was born in Wales c 1835 and d Taylor, 1920. Bridget (STANTON) born in Wales both parents in Ireland. One STANTON daughter m John J. CLOUGHERTY another daughter married Henry CROAK. Son Patrick J. STANTON b 1871 m Margaret SULLIVAN b 1868 Taylor, Pa in 1890. Daughter Anne STANTON b 1875 in Ireland married Margaret SULLIVAN brother John SULLIVAN b 1870. They were married 1893. Census indicates the STANTON family came from Northern Ireland.
Obituary for Mrs. Michael STANTON Scranton Republican July 15,1920 reported Mrs. Bridget STANTON 95 died at the home of her daughter Mrs. John S. SULLIVAN 119 Middle St. Taylor,PA. She is survived by her daughters Mrs.John (Annie) S. SULLIVAN, Taylor; Mrs. John J. CLOUGHERTY and Mrs. Henry CROAK, Homestead, PA and Patrick J. of Taylor. Services Immaculate Conception Church, interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Minooka, PA.
