Dear Carole, There was a seizable Welsh community in Springbrook Township in Lacka. Co. I don't know if any Griffiths lived there. I grew up in Blakely which also had many Welsh (and Welsh churches). I grew up next door to Hilda and Ethel Griffiths. There were quite elderly and I don't know the names of their parents. I now live in Va. and don't have the opportunity to do much research. However my brother and mother still live there and might have some info. I am of Welsh descent and am looking for information on Matthews and Francis families. I distant cousing of mine has a web site listing a genealogy of the Matthews. You might find find some Griffiths there. Let me know if you're interested. Leah Duckworth
