My gg grandfathwer was Joseph Stutts born about 1825
GG grandmother Hannah Shrawder born about 1827, married Joseph about 1849
Children: William Lucian, b-1851; George J, b-1855; Martha E, b-1857; and Randilph, b-1862.
Joseph appears in the 1850 & 1960 census. In 1870 Joseph is gone and Hannah is Hannah Humphries with a Humphrey son and the Stutts children. I believe Hannah died in 1903 and was then Hannah Ziegler - tomB stone in United Presbyterian Cemetery states MOTHER HANNAH.
Does anyone know what happened to Joseph Stutts between 1862 and 1870?
please contact me directly at car.stone@comcast.net
Thank you, Carolyn Stutts Stone
