After years of fruitless research, I am seeking the help of those of you in the Juanita County Forum to determine who the parents of John P Fasick were. His obituary is below. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

John P. Fasick, a machinist in the employ of the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, at Altoona, died suddenly Monday last at his home in Altoona. Mr. Fasick was born in Juniata county, December 28, 1836, and had been a resident of Altoona for thirty-six years. He learned his trade in the company's shops at Mifflin and when this work was transferred to Altoona was one of the force of men to come to this city. Had he lived until next April he would have been in the employ of the company for fifty years. He was twice married. His first wife was Miss Catharine Leonard and after her death was wedded to Mrs. Cynthia Worley who survives him. He also leaves the following children: William L., George W., James McC., Andrew Nelson, Harry G., Charles Leonard, Mrs. Ella Garrettson and Miss Clara. He was a member of the Machinists' union. Mr. Fasick was a cousin of Wallace and A. Britain Fasick, of this place.
