I am researching the family of Washington Malin, son of Griffith and Mary (?) Malin. Washington was born in Chester Co., Dec 8, 1805, died in Fayette Twp., Juniata Co., PA March 15, 1887. On September 17, 1849 in E. Caln Twp., Chester Co., he married Mary (Youart) Razer, daughter of John and Mary Youart and widow of Uriah Razer; Mary was born December 26, 1825, died in Fayette Twp. on February 2, 1900. Both Washington and Mary are buried at Lost Creek Presbyterian Cemetery in McAlisterville, Juniata Co. Washington and his family was settled in Juniata by July 1860. Mary had two children by her first husband, John, b.c. 1846, and Hannah, b.c. 1848 in E. Caln Twp., Chester Co., PA

Washington and Mary had the following children:

William Youart Malin, b. May 19, 1850, d. March 8, 1881
James Elwood (or Elwood James) Malin, b. January 20, 1852, died after May 26, 1895
George Speakman Malin, b. September 26, 1853, may have married a Sarah or Sadie, and had a son Harvey.
Alfred or Alford C. Malin, b. June 15, 1857, married Elsie Bently and settled first in Rockford, IL, then in Pueblo, CO where he raised cattle and she was a chiropractor; their daughtger Alma was born in Juniata Co January 5, 1880 and died there September 30, 1882.
Mary Louisa Malin, b. May 22, 1859
Mollie S. Malin, b. May 1, 1860
Susanna Malin, b. April 16, 1866
Corbit Willson Malin, b. February 10, 1868.

According to the 1860 Census there was also a son Henry born about 1856; and in 1880 a daughter Annie is shown as born about 1864. It's possible that Mary Louisa and Mollie S. are one in the same. Mary L is shown in 1860 as being born in 1859 and in 1880 as being born in 1862. Susanna and Annie may also be one child.

If anyone has additional information on this family, I would be happy to share earlier genealogical data.
