Hello,

This is an 'Update.' We now believe that 'Edward Kelley' and his family resided during Census years in these different counties in PA. These included in 1790 'Franklin Co'. In 1800 they were in 'Mifflin Co'. In 1810 they were in 'Armstrong Co'. Elizabeth Lauther(s) is believed to be Edward Kelley's wife. We still do not know where they were born or where they were married. We also do not know who their parents were or from where their families emigrated.

The 'Isle of Man, England' and 'County Antrim, N. Ireland' have been suggested as the most likely Kelley place of origin. It's possible that Edward's father might have been William or James. Edward might have been born in Cumberland Co PA. Elizabeth's father might have been James. She might have been born in Lancaster Co PA. Edward Kelley and Elizabeth Lauthers might have been married in Cumberland Co. Thank you.

Regards,
Ken Kelly <kenkelly_98pa@live.com>
