Sier / Siar, Matthews, Taylor Corsica area, Jefferson co., Pa.

I cannot find any information on the Sier / Siar family so am posting this in hopes it gleans some information from others. Joseph H. SIER / SIAR b 1800 in maybe Maryland mar Mary Matthews b 1802 Pa. Children, Nancy (have nothing about her) Robert (nothing on him) Gideon H. b abt 1824; James abt 1826; John S. about 1827; Priscilla b Nov 22, 1829 married James M. Taylor a brother of my great grandfather, Philip Pritner Taylor; Isaac 1832; Carolyn Kezia b Aug 1, 1844. Any information on the family would be appreciated. Am wondering if the middle initial H. for Joseph and son Gideon is for the name Horseshite or Horsehite or Hart. Priscilla and james Taylor named a son Gideon Hart Horsehite Taylor.
Will share info on families I have it on. and
