Mrs. Francis Myers
Mrs. Francis Myers, aged nearly 87 years, died at the home of her son, John Myers, in Cherryhill township, on Saturday, with general debility, incident to age. She was a daughter of the late William and Jane Long and was the last member of a family of 13 children to pass away. She was born in Cherryhill township July 6, 1935, and had lived in that section of the county practically all her life. She was a devout christian and a member of the Wesleyan Methodist church of Cherryhill township. Six of her nine children, three sons and three daughters, are living. They are John Myers and Mrs. Ida Owens, of Penn Run; Lemuel Myers and Mrs. Jennie Miller, of Indiana; Mrs. Maggie Bagley, of near Cookport, and Rev. Walter N. Myers, of Clymer. Twenty grandchildren are living. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning by Rev. Barnett, of Penn Run, and burial was made in the Diamondville cemetery.
