OBIT - 5 Aug 1925, Indiana Evening Gazette - DEATH OF MR. MATTHEW HENRY, Matthew Henry, aged 68 years passed away in the home of C. E. Henry, near Josephine, Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock. He was born and lived all his life in Indiana county. He leaves four daughters, eight sons and these brothers and sisters; Mrs. John Woolweaver of Indiana, Mrs. ? Bagley, Mrs. Mary Horner, both of Bedford, and Samuel Henry of Josephine. Funeral services will be conducted in the C. E. Henry home on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, by the Rev. C. H. Zahniser, minister of the Free Methodist Church. Interment will be made in Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana.

OBIT - 6 Aug 1925 - Indiana Weekly Messenger - Matthew Henry, aged 63 years, a lifelong resident of the county, died Tuesday evening at 9:00 o'clock, at the home of his son C. E. Henry, of near Josephine, with a complications of diseases. He was born in this county September 1, 1862, and spent his entire life in this section. His wife died some time ago. These twelve children are living: Mrs. Lorenzo Shank, James Henry, Thomas, Daniel and Alonza Henry, all of Penn Run; R. J. Henry, of Blacklick township; William Henry, of Homer City; C. E. Henry, of Josephine; Mrs. Matthew Lewis, of Jeannette; Mrs. William Rhodes, of Heshbon, and Sandy Henry, of West Wheatfield township. One brother, Samuel Henry, of Josephine, and three sisters, Mrs. John Woolweaver, of Indiana; Mrs. Isaac Bagley and Mrs. Mary Horner, of Bedford, are living. Funeral services will be held at the home of C. E. Henry, of Josephine, on Friday afternoon by Rev. Zahniser, and burial will be made in Greenwood Cemetery.
