Obit - 3 Aug 1943 - Indiana Evening Gazette
ENOCH SHIRLEY - 81, a retired miner, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday in his home in Luciusboro. Born in Austria, he came to the United States 45 years ago and had been resident in Coal Run and Kent prior to locating in Luciusboro six years ago.
Surviving are his widow and two children: Mrs. Mary Hatway of Carmichael and Mrs. Rose Parsons of Clune. There are also surviving 15 grandchildren and a sister, Miss Mary Shirley, in Austria.
Friends will be received in the family home, No. 450, Luciusboro, after 7:00 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
