Amos LAWRENCE and Desire (NILES - ???)

Amos and Desire Lawrence are both buried in Indiana Co. He died in 1838. She died in 1826. I am trying to prove that Amos was the father of Warren Lawrence, who moved to Kendall Co, IL about 1837 with his wife, Uretta, and children. Can anyone from Indiana Co. check the probate records to see if there is a will or inestate papers for Amos and Desire?

Secondly, there seems to be confusion as to whether Amos' wife was Desire Niles or not. Several researchers claim that Desire Niles first married Joshua Sabin about 1778 in Dutchess Co, NY and then married Amos Lawrence about 1805, place unkwn. However, it seems that Mr. Sabin also remarried and divorce back then was extremely rare, if even existent. Perhaps she went back and forth between the two men? Mr. Sabin was a Captain, so maybe he was away for periods of time. Who knows? Can anyone help with this issue? Thanks.
