Tim Gruber,

Thank you for your information. I already have some of what you reported. Godfrey's wife and son Harry preceded him in death. He died in 1920 at the age 0f 82. AS his direct heirs were dead he left the fulk of his estate to his nieces and nephews. His will is a gold mine of info on family members.

I need to find the date of death for Philip. He was deceased by 1920 and his children are named in Godfrey's will. Their names seem to differ in the will and in the census records. It would be great to find out what happened to those children.

Myi great great grandfather was the Peter Marshall (Marschal) who you listed on the immigration record. The familiy migrated from Hesse-Darmstadt. They settled in Cranberry Township, Butler Co. PA. I compiled a booklet on his descendants in 1991 (outdated by this time).

One of Peter's sons was Balthasar Marshall. He resided in Philadelphia and I have a good deal of info on his descendants from a recently discovered cousin.

Philip is the only brother about whom we know little. I'll try the Genealogical Society in Indiana Co.. I was hoping to take a shortcut by finding one of Philip's descendants.

Thank you again for your help.

Donna Wolf
