Oral history has it that my maternal ancestor John MOYAR was a Hessian Mercenary during the Revolutionary War. He settled in Lancaster County, Pa after the war. I was recently told that a Johann MEYER was on the The Trenton

List. Could this be the same person? The MOYAR name could be anglicized from MEYER. Looking for information/resources on either name.
